Who is our banana bread for?  Our banana bread is for everyone! Our mixes are  purposely easy to make, you don't have to be a baker and you can absolutely get the kids involved. Banana bread is great for breakfast or as an all day snack with a cup of tea or coffee. Dress it up with our topping ideas (found on our recipes page) or just have it simply as is. It's energy fuel - great as a grab and go snack for kids and work lunchboxes - perfect for the gym pre or post workout.

Why do you use refined sugar? Based on 10 slices, 1 slice of banana bread equates to just over 1tsp of added sugar and 86% of sugars from our banana bread are naturally occurring from bananas.  So why do we use refined sugar if bananas are sweet enough? The reason for this is because sugar acts as a natural preservative and as our recipe calls for 4 bananas, our banana bread is deliciously moist so in order to extend the shelf life of our loaf, we need to add a little sugar. Sugar also acts as supporting agent to flour which enables our banana bread rise evenly.  You should be mindful when eating ‘healthy’ snacks,  dried fruits such as dates and prunes (as a refined sugar replacement) contain a high amount of fructose and are in fact 80% pure sugar.

Where do your ingredients come from? We support British trade where possible (flour, sugar, baking powder). Our mix is proudly manufactured and packed with love in the U.K in a nut free environment.

What is the shelf life of your banana bread mixes? Our banana bread range has a shelf life of 1 year. Please store in a cool, dry place and refer the top of the carton for your best before date.

I would like to sell your banana bread, who should I get in touch with?  For any banana bread product related queries or if you would like to discuss international trade/licensing and wholesale prices, please get in touch at [email protected]
